Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Workers' Compensation Act. Provides that when a patient notifies a provider that the patient is seeking treatment for a work-related injury, the provider shall bill the employer or its designee directly (rather than the employer directly). Provides for the payment of interest to providers. Effective immediately.
