SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

325 ILCS 20/13.1 new

Amends the Early Intervention Services System Act. Provides that, for State fiscal years 2020 through 2022, the Department of Human Services shall increase reimbursement rates for early intervention services and related services by 3% each State fiscal year; except that, for State fiscal years 2020 through 2022, the Department of Human Services shall increase reimbursement rates for developmental therapy services by 6% each State fiscal year. Effective immediately.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Early Intervention Services System Act is amended by adding Section 13.1 as follows:

(325 ILCS 20/13.1 new)

Sec. 13.1. Provider reimbursement rates. For State fiscal years 2020 through 2022, the Department of Human Services shall increase reimbursement rates for early intervention services and related services by 3% each State fiscal year; except that, for State fiscal years 2020 through 2022, the Department of Human Services shall increase reimbursement rates for developmental therapy services by 6% each State fiscal year.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
