SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Doris Mae Drea of Springfield, who passed
4away on March 19, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Doris Drea was born in Pawnee to Jesse and Hazel
6(Burt) Reynolds on December 15, 1931; she married Edward "Babe"
7Drea on June 20, 1953; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Doris Drea was employed for many years by the
9Taylorville Community Schools and as a teacher's aide at
10Cathedral Grade School in Springfield; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Doris Drea was a member of the Cathedral of the
12Immaculate Conception, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and
13the Taylorville VFW Auxiliary; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Doris Drea was preceded in death by her parents;
15her husband, Edward; her brothers, Milo and Robert "Bob"
16Reynolds; and her great-grandson, Cameron Blome; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Doris Drea is survived by her children, Edward J.
18(Lori) Drea, Tama L. (Joe) Kuznik, and Timothy E. (Elizabeth)
19Drea; her grandchildren, Trevor (Leah) Blome, Tiffany (Jason)
20Smith, Brandon, Bradley, Andrew, Bridget, Lillian, and Jack

1Drea; her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Griffin, and Ali Blome
2and Mason and Tyson Smith; her brother, Michael (Marilyn)
3Reynolds; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore,
4be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Doris Mae Drea and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Doris Drea as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
