SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Clayton Gaudry of Crown Point, Indiana,
4formerly of Bourbonnais, who passed away on May 11, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was a junior at Crown Point High
6School and an honors student with a 4.2 GPA; he planned to
7attend Indiana University Bloomington to major in finance and
8had already completed college courses over the past three
9years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was proud of the computer he built
11by himself; he enjoyed working on his car, riding his dirt bike
12and motorcycle, fishing, and hunting; he loved hockey and had
13played for a team at the Midwest Training and Ice Center; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was selfless; he loved helping
15others and adored his family and friends; his family hopes his
16death will raise awareness about the importance of slowing down
17and watching for motorcycles; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry was preceded in death by his
19grandmother, Becky Rocha; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Clayton Gaudry is survived by his parents, Tony

1and Jessica Gaudry; his brother, Ethan Gaudry; his sister,
2Lauryn Gaudry; his grandparents, Randy and Sherry Regnier,
3Julie and Scott Hill, and Scott MacDonald; his aunts and
4uncles, Elisha and Bryan Jurewicz, Ken Gaudry, Dale MacDonald,
5Brendan Uhlir, and Jacob Regnier; and his many cousins;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Clayton Gaudry and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Clayton Gaudry.
