SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William Uhler, DDS, who passed away on June 11, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Uhler was born to George and Cynthia Uhler on October 30, 1951; he received his degree in dentistry from the University of Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Uhler was a well-known and well-respected member of the Chicago-area dental community; he had been serving the Arlington Heights, Northbrook, Lake Forest, and other northern Chicago suburbs since 1976; he was a staff member at Condell Hospital; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Uhler was an active member of the Lake Cook Implant-Periodontal Dental Study Club and participated in many continuing education courses; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Uhler was the beloved husband of Roberta (Soll), the loving father of Jaclyn (Rob) Ackerman and Lenie (Glenn) Jett, the adored "Das" of Annabelle and Raiden, the cherished son of Cynthia and the late George Uhler, the dear brother of Susie (Chuck) Cutler, Terry (Alan) Gault, and Neil (Stephanie) Uhler, and the proud uncle of Bradley, Daniel, Nicole, Greg, Gabriel, and Michael; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William Uhler, DDS and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dr. Uhler as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
