SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carmella (DeSalvo) Feminis of South Chicago Heights; and

WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis attended Bloom High School; and

WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis retired from Star Publications, Villa Italia, and Park Forest School District 163; and

WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph (Jean) DeSalvo, William (Lorene Bove) DeSalvo, Anthony (Diane) DeSalvo, and Donald DeSalvo; and

WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis was the wife of the late Jack Feminis for 36 years; the mother of Joseph (Sheryl), Virginia, John, Michael (Meredith), and the late Jack Feminis Jr.; the grandmother of Matthew (Laura), Anthony (Jennifer), and Christopher (Alyson) Feminis, Zachary (Despina) Roszak, Gianna, Francesca, and Sophia Feminis, and Scott (Kayla) Shiple; the great-grandmother of Addison, Maria, Vincent, Aubrie, and Katherine; the daughter of Virginia (Petrarca) and Vito DeSalvo; the sister of Constance "Connie" (Louis) Melone and John (Celia) DeSalvo; and beloved aunt and dear friend of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Carmella (DeSalvo) Feminis and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carmella Feminis as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
