SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Patrick Phillip "Pat" Sheppard, who passed away on July 13, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Pat Sheppard was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 20, 1961; he married Tracy Schuler in Edwardsville on December 23, 1994; and

WHEREAS, Pat Sheppard served as the Business Agent for Labor Local 338 in Wood River; and

WHEREAS, Pat Sheppard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and, most of all, being a husband, a father, and a friend; and

WHEREAS, Pat Sheppard was preceded in death by his father, Joseph L. Sheppard, and his brother, Joseph Sheppard; and

WHEREAS, Pat Sheppard is survived by his mother, Joyce (Rogers) Yoder; his wife, Tracy; his daughter, Shelby Ann Sheppard; and his brothers, Kevin (Karen) Rogers, and Jerry (Adrian) Cox; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Patrick Phillip "Pat" Sheppard and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pat Sheppard as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
