SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lawrence J. "Larry" Anderson of East Moline, who passed away on January 2, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Carl Alfred and Leona Oswald Anderson on September 12, 1928; he served in the U.S. Army during World War II; he married Donna Jean Meyers in Pittsburgh on September 27, 1955; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson retired from Deere & Company on May 31, 1986 after 19 years of service, retiring as Senior Audio Visual Director/Producer; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Lawrence Anderson Jr.; and

WHEREAS, Lawrence Anderson is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Jean; children, Claudia (fiance, Bryan Young) Anderson and Gregory (Diane) Anderson; and his best friend "Lilly"; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lawrence J. "Larry" Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lawrence Anderson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
