| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate the St. |
| 4 |
| Joseph-Ogden High School Lady Spartans on winning the IHSA |
| 5 |
| Class A State Softball Championship; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Spartans battled Casey-Westfield for the |
| 7 |
| State title, winning the game by a score of one to nothing; |
| 8 |
| team members did not have any errors in their final 18 and |
| 9 |
| two-thirds innings at the State competition; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The team finished the season with a record of 31 |
| 11 |
| wins and six losses; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Spartans are led by head coach Randy |
| 13 |
| Wolken and assistant coaches Bob Biehl and Leonard Winchester; |
| 14 |
| they were aided by Lizzy Ward, statistician; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Lady Spartans are Lindsey |
| 16 |
| Barron, Emily Benting, Morgan Brown, Stacy Buck, Stacy |

| Ferguson, Morgan Finn, Taylor Freeman, Rachael Jannusch, |
| 18 |
| Brittany Morgan, Dana Peters, Jessica Redden, Ashley Runck, |
| 19 |
| Sarah Thompson, Aubrey Welch, and Abby Williams; therefore, be |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |

| we congratulate the St. Joseph-Ogden High School Lady Spartans |
| 24 |
| softball team on an outstanding season and on winning the IHSA |
| 25 |
| Class A State Softball Championship; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to each member, coach, and support staff member of |

| the Lady Spartans as an expression of our esteem.
