SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Stefano Dima of Maryville, who passed away on August 20, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Stefano Dima worked as a waiter captain at Tony's restaurant in downtown Saint Louis, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, Stefano Dima worked at Tony's restaurant for 37 years and became the owner's right-hand man; he retired 11 years ago; and

WHEREAS, Stefano Dima served his country in the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Stefano Dima is survived by his wife, Dawn; his sons, Richard, Joseph, and Steve Dima; his brothers, Tony and John Dima; and 3 his grandsons; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Stefano Dima, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Stefano Dima as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
