SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas George Treptow, who passed away on January 18, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Treptow was born on December 16, 1953; he was a 1971 graduate of Lake Zurich High School and was a longtime resident and former President of Holiday Hills; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Treptow was Senior Warden of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Apostles in Wauconda; he was an active member of As Good As Gold Golden Retriever Rescue and volunteered many hours at Helping Paws Animal Shelter in Woodstock; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Treptow was the beloved husband of Penny (Thill) Treptow; the loving brother of Bob Treptow, Durrelle Whitmore, Jan Treptow, Nancy Janda, Larry Treptow, Therese Hinga, Barb Riley, Susan Kalmon, and Katie Schoelzel; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas George Treptow, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Treptow as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
