HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Maynard Denault on the occasion of his retirement from the Kankakee City Fire Department on January 3, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Maynard Denault was hired as a Kankakee City firefighter on July 11, 1977; he joined the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 653 in 1978; and

WHEREAS, Maynard Denault became a paramedic with the Kankakee City Fire Department in 1980; he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on June 10, 1984, then to the rank of Captain on September 14, 1989; and

WHEREAS, Maynard Denault's dedication to his profession and his willingness to serve his community make him a model for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Maynard Denault on the occasion of his retirement and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Maynard Denault as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
