1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the St. Anthony
4 Bulldogs golf team from Effingham St. Anthony High School on
5 the occasion of winning the Class A Girls State Golf
6 Championship on October 13, 2007; and

7     WHEREAS, The St. Anthony Bulldog golf team beat the
8 competition with a 40-stroke victory at the Stone Creek Golf
9 Course in Makanda; and

10     WHEREAS, Effingham St. Anthony High School senior Jaclyn
11 Jansen shot an even-par 72 on both days of the tournament to
12 win the individual championship by 8 strokes; and

13     WHEREAS, The members of the St. Anthony Bulldog golf team
14 are Taylor Behl, Emily Calhoon, Jaclyn Jansen, Lauren Kabbes,
15 Kathryn Koester, Kelly McHugh, and Shelby Spruell; the head
16 coach is Kevin Behl; therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate the St. Anthony Bulldogs golf team from Effingham
20 St. Anthony High School on the occasion of winning the Class A
21 Girls State Golf Championship and wish the team continued

1 success and happiness in the future; and be it further

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to St. Anthony Bulldogs head coach Kevin Behl as a
4 symbol of our esteem and respect.
