SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of James E. Wright of Waukegan, who passed
4 away on October 23, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, James E. Wright was born February 12, 1935 in
6 Waukegan; his parents were Edward J. and Ethel (nee Sheridan)
7 Wright; and
 
8     WHEREAS, James E. Wright attended Immaculate Conception
9 Grade School; he graduated from Waukegan Township High School
10 in 1953; he attended Marquette University for one year on a
11 football scholarship; and
 
12     WHEREAS, James E. Wright served in the United States Army
13 and was stationed in Germany; and
 
14     WHEREAS, James E. Wright had worked as a postman for the
15 Waukegan Post Office; he also served for 43 years in the
16 Traffic Control Department in the City of Waukegan Public Works
17 Department; and
 
18     WHEREAS, James E. Wright played football and softball and
19 coached St. Anastasia Schools football team under coach Marvin
20 Ross for 13 years; he was a member of the John Clark PTA Board

1 and the CAC Board for District 60; he was also Cubmaster for
2 John Clark Grade School; and
 
3     WHEREAS, James E. Wright was preceded in death by his
4 parents, Edward J. and Ethel (nee Sheridan) Wright; his first
5 wife, Audrey C. Duszynski; his brother, Philips Wright; and his
6 cousin, Lucile Wright; and
 
7     WHEREAS, James E. Wright is survived by his wife of 42
8 years, Betty Rosengren Wright; his children, Leon (Lisa), Joe
9 (Annette), Jean (Don) Bahe, Joan Wright, and James C. Wright;
10 and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lauren, Jake and Matthew
11 Wright, Austin, Sarah and Emily Bahe, and Michael Duffy;
12 therefore, be it
 
13     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
14 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
15 his family and friends, the passing of James E. Wright; and be
16 it further
 
17     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18 presented to the family of James E. Wright as an expression of
19 our sympathy.
