SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Josephine Meisenheimer of Bethalto, who passed away June 19, 2008; and

WHEREAS, She was born on April 7, 1921, in Livingston, the daughter of Nicholas and Mary Demchak Kovaly; and

WHEREAS, She married Richard Meisenheimer on November 22, 1941, in Livingston and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1995; and

WHEREAS, She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, She is survived by three children, Richard, Jo Ann, and Annette; her seven grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; her five sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kavaly, Marlene Barach, Rose Bickmore, and Leota and Gladys Meisenheimer; and her brother-in-law, Joe Meisenheimer; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Josephine Meisenheimer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Josephine Meisenheimer as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
