HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representative are pleased to congratulate Kathie Schultz on her golden anniversary with the McHenry County Clerk's Office; and

WHEREAS, On October 16, 1959 Kathie Schultz was hired as a Deputy Clerk in the County Clerk’s office; Kathie has held positions as Chief Clerk of Voter Registration, Chief Deputy Tax Extension, and Chief Deputy Clerk; and

WHEREAS, On December 1, 1990 she was sworn in as McHenry County Clerk; and

WHEREAS, She belongs to the following organizations: NACO, IACREOT, and IACO; on State Committees she serves on the Legislative and Election Committees; she currently holds the position of Chairman on the Election Committee; and

WHEREAS, She serves on the State Advisory Board and has served on various task committees; she has also served Zone IV as Secretary, Treasurer, and President; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Kathie Schultz on this momentous occasion and wish her continued success for years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Kathie Schultz as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
