SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Alexander James Guletsky, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, He graduated from Vernon Hills High School, where he was the student body president for 2 years, a varsity football player, a member of the National Honor Society, an Illinois State Scholar, and an Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, He also received the Daily Herald Leadership Award, the Sons of the American Revolution Award, and was an FBLA National Finalist; and

WHEREAS, He was currently a freshman at the University of Illinois, Champaign- Urbana, College of Business; and

WHEREAS, Alexander James Guletsky was the beloved son of Peter and Paula Guletsky; the loving brother of Anastasia and Tatiana; the proud grandson of Mary (the late James E.) Mammas and the late Retired Colonel Walter and Tania Guletsky; the fond nephew of Lucia Greenawalt, Evan (Marika) Mammas, Stephen (Susan) and Alexander (Joann) Guletsky, and his devoted nanny, Susan Germain; the dear cousin of Ryan (Kana), Darrin (Sarah), Nathan, and Marysa Greenawalt, and Caidi and Joanna Mammas; the godson of Gail Zeheralis; and the godfather of Celia Greenawalt; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Alexander James Guletsky; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alexander James Guletsky as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
