SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Greenwald, who passed away on March 31, 2012; and

WHEREAS, He was born in Chicago and a resident of Homer Glen; and

WHEREAS, He was the owner of R&B Liquors in Bridgeview; and

WHEREAS, He was a founder and officer of the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, Robert Greenwald was the beloved husband for nearly 50 years of Rose, nee Jeglinski; the loving father of Kathy (Shannon) McCarthy, Carol (Brian) Wood, and Bob (Tracey) Greenwald; the cherished grandfather of Jared and Dillon McCarthy, Luke and Emma Wood, and Ashley and Ally Greenwald; the devoted brother of Jim (Jean) and Bill (Rosa) Greenwald; he is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Robert Greenwald; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Greenwald as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
