| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were deeply | | 3 | | saddened to learn of the death of James Demetrios Gountanis of | | 4 | | Green Oaks, who died at the age of 65; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, James Gountanis was born in Nestani, Tripoleos, | | 6 | | Greece, to Konstantinos and Evagelia; he was married to Athina | | 7 | | (nee Arfane); and
| | 8 | | WHEREAS, James Gountanis was the owner and operator of | | 9 | | GOJOS restaurant in Waukegan; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, James Gountanis was preceded in death by his | | 11 | | mother-in-law, Katerina Arfane; and
