| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply | | 3 | | saddened to learn of the death of John P. Hoffman, Sr., who | | 4 | | passed away on September 28, 2012; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, John P. Hoffman, Sr. was born on November 23, | | 6 | | 1930, to Peter and Jeannie Hoffman in Aurora; he was married to | | 7 | | Bernice for 61 years; and
| | 8 | | WHEREAS, John P. Hoffman, Sr. owned and operated Valley | | 9 | | Floor Covering, Inc. for many years; he was a member of Holy | | 10 | | Angels Church for 60 years, and was also a member of the Moose | | 11 | | Lodge #400; and
| | 12 | | WHEREAS, John P. Hoffman, Sr. was preceded in death by his | | 13 | | parents, Peter and Jennie (Lies) Hoffman and by his brother, | | 14 | | Joseph Hoffman; and
