SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Dennis P. Skoff of Beach Park, who passed away on November 12, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff was born on October 15, 1939, in Waukegan; he married Judy A. Hubert in Waukegan in 1964; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff worked as an I.T. Systems Analyst for Abbott Laboratories for 27 years; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and St. Anastasia Church in Waukegan; he was a member of Bonnie Brook Golf Course in Waukegan and enjoyed golfing, fishing, billiards, card games, bowling, and spending time with his grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff was preceded in death by his son, Bill; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Skoff is survived by his wife, Judy; his son, Tom (Stacey) Skoff; his daughters, Cathy (Ken) Nelson and Stacey "Monkey" Harris; his grandchildren, Casey, Chloe, and Glenn Harris, Josh and Maggie Nelson, and Colby Skoff; and his sister, Jackie Bishop; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dennis Skoff, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dennis Skoff as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
