SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

730 ILCS 110/13a

from Ch. 38, par. 204-5a

Amends the Probation and Probation Officers Act. Provides that the appointment of officers to probation or court services departments under the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 and the Pretrial Services Act shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Act (rather than only the Juvenile Court Act of 1987).

AN ACT concerning criminal law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is amended by changing Section 13a as follows:

(730 ILCS 110/13a) (from Ch. 38, par. 204-5a)

Sec. 13a. The appointment of officers to probation or court services departments under the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 and the Pretrial Services Act shall be in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
