SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Walter "Wally" T. Koziol, who passed away
4on February 7, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Wally Koziol was born to John and Catherine
6(Bodame) Koziol on March 10, 1938; he married his high school
7sweetheart, Frances Tomkowicz, and they celebrated 58 years of
8marriage; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Wally Koziol worked at Johnson Motors for 36
10years; he later worked at the Lake Forest High School teacher's
11cafeteria; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Wally Koziol enjoyed cooking at the Knights of
13Columbus, where he was a Third Degree Member; he was a people
14person and an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs; he enjoyed
15traveling and parties; his greatest joy was his family; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Wally Koziol was preceded in death by his parents
17and his brother, John; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Wally Koziol is survived by his children, Richard
19(Mari) and Bruce (Karen); his sister-in-law, Sally; his
20sister-in-law and brother-in-law, John and Pat; his

1granddaughters, Charleen and Kayleen; his six
2great-grandchildren; and his many nieces and nephews;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Walter "Wally" T. Koziol and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Wally Koziol as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
