1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 31

2     WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report
3 on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated October 1, 2013, with
4 the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of
5 State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School
6 Code; therefore, be it

7     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8 NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
9 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by O'Fallon
10 CCSD 90 - St. Clair with respect to physical education,
11 identified in the report filed by the State Board of Education
12 as request WM100-5823, is disapproved; and be it further

13     RESOLVED, That the request made by Abingdon-Avon CUSD 276 -
14 Knox with respect to nonresident tuition, identified in the
15 report filed by the State Board of Education as request
16 WM100-5808, is approved retroactively beginning on August 1,
17 2013; and be it further

18     RESOLVED, That the remaining requests in the Report on
19 Waiver of School Code Mandates are approved.
