1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the members of the
4 Glenbard West High School Girls Cross Country Team on the
5 occasion of their victory in the IHSA Class 3A Championship;
6 and

7     WHEREAS, Glenbard West High School is a public 4-year high
8 school located at the corner of Ellyn Avenue and Crescent
9 Boulevard in Glen Ellyn; the school was constructed in 1922;
10 and

11     WHEREAS, The Glenbard West Girls Cross Country Team
12 defeated the competition with a score of 75 points to claim
13 victory at the IHSA Class 3A Cross-Country Championship on
14 November 9, 2013, winning the school's first State
15 championship; and

16     WHEREAS, The members of the Glenbard West Girls Cross
17 Country Team are Madeline Perez, Lisa Luczak, Lindsay Graham,
18 Grace Rogers, Janie Nabholz, Kathryn Kenwood, and Megan Ozog;
19 the team's head coach is Paul Hass; and

20     WHEREAS, The members of the Glenbard West Girls Cross
21 Country Team serve as models of hard work, integrity, and

1 dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore,
2 be it

3     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
4 NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
5 we congratulate the members of the Glenbard West High School
6 Girls Cross Country Team on the occasion of their victory in
7 the IHSA Class 3A Championship and wish them continued success
8 and happiness in the future; and be it further

9     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10 presented to the Glenbard West High School Girls Cross Country
11 Team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
