HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Hinsdale Central High School Girls' Tennis Team on winning the 2014 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Championship; and

WHEREAS, This is the 2nd consecutive IHSA State Championship for the Hinsdale Central High School Girls' Tennis Team; and

WHEREAS, The 2014 championship is the 15th State title for the Hinsdale Central High School girls' tennis program; and

WHEREAS, The 2014 team achieved a team total of 49 points - one point shy of the 50-point record held by the 2006 Hinsdale Central High School girls' championship squad; and

WHEREAS, Highlights of the 2014 championship season included a perfect 8 and 0 record in dual meets, capturing the West Suburban Conference Silver title for the 21st consecutive year, and winning the Mustang Invitational, the Red Devil Invitational, and the Lake Forest Invitational; and

WHEREAS, The members Hinsdale Central High School Girls' Tennis Team are Bella Lorenzini, Sophia Haleas, Rugile Valiunaite, Sandra Keta, Erika Oku, and Stephanie Dolehide; their head coach is Robin Kramer and their assistant coaches are Shauna Zsinko and Scott Radecki; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Hinsdale Central High School Girls' Tennis Team on winning the 2014 Illinois High School Association State Championship and wish them many more successful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Hinsdale Central High School Girls' Tennis Team as an expression of our esteem and respect.
