HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the Notre Dame College Prep sophomore football team, the Dons, on the occasion of winning the 2013 co-championship in the East Suburban Catholic Conference; and

WHEREAS, In the last game of the season, the Notre Dame Dons defeated Carmel Catholic High School to secure a victory in the East Suburban Catholic Conference championship game; and

WHEREAS, With this victory, the Notre Dame Dons completed a perfect season with a 9 and 0 record; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Notre Dame Dons are Kaylan Acosta, Jake Barzowski, Matt Bernal, Brendan Burke, Adam Butler, Anthony Cardella, Gabe Clancy, Patrick Criel, Kyle Cummings, Johnny D'Amico, Nicholas DeGryse, Nick DeLeonardis, Jackson Delfosse, Tom Dolis, Danny Durkan, Patrick Dwyer, Frederick Fitte, Quentin Grays, Joe Harmon, John Hendry, Matt Hermann, Dylan Hyde, Ethan Jennings, Kevin Johnson, Aidan Kelly, Joshua Martin, Eugene Marsette, Riley McAndrew, Mike McGovern, Ronan McGrath, Liam Mulchrone, Eamon O'Mahony, Eric Pacynski, Marco Pehar, Tommy Renier, Brendan Sanders, Tim Simon, Tom Simon, Marquez Smith, David Sora, Matt Szyska, Giovanni Taibi, Jimmy Topping, and Tyler Tsagalis; the team's coaches are Michael Jankowski, Tim Heneghan, Jim Morrissey, Jim Churak, Marty Folan, Peter Babich, Robb Fulara, and Matt Gallagher; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Notre Dame Dons serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Notre Dame College Prep sophomore football team, the Dons, on the occasion of winning the 2013 co-championship in the East Suburban Catholic Conference and wish them continued success in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Notre Dame Dons as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
