HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Kathlene Ann Budde of Herrin, who passed away on February 24, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Kathlene Budde was born on January 8, 1958 in Peoria; her parents were Walter and Margaret (nee Long) Stein; she married Rex P. Budde on June 17, 1978 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Peoria; and

WHEREAS, Kathlene Budde was employed as a bookkeeper for Town and Country Bank in Springfield; and

WHEREAS, Kathlene Budde was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin and the Herrin Women's Club; and

WHEREAS, Kathlene Budde was preceded in death by her father, Walter Stein, and her grandmother, Margaret Long; and

WHEREAS, Kathlene Budde is survived by her husband, Rex Budde; her mother, Margaret Stein; her daughter and son-in-law, Paula Ann and Evan Beattie; her son, Bradley Joseph Budde; her granddaughters, Emma Beattie and Anna Beattie; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Janet Stein and John and Silke Stein; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Ellen and Brent Hartness and Mary Ann and Dennis McDonnell; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathlene Ann Budde; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathlene Budde as an expression of our sympathy.
