SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 301/5-16 new
305 ILCS 5/12-4.47 new

Amends the Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse and Dependency Act and the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall implement a 40% rate increase based on State fiscal year 2014 reimbursement rates for all covered services listed in the Illinois Administrative Code under the Department of Human Services' Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse and Dependency Act is amended by adding Section 5-16 as follows:

(20 ILCS 301/5-16 new)

Sec. 5-16. Rate increase. The Department shall implement a 40% rate increase based on State fiscal year 2014 reimbursement rates for all covered services listed in 77 Ill. Adm. Code 2060 under the Department's Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.

Section 10. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by adding Section 12-4.47 as follows:

(305 ILCS 5/12-4.47 new)

Sec. 12-4.47. Rate increase; alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment services. The Department of Human Services shall implement a 40% rate increase based on State fiscal year 2014 reimbursement rates for all covered services listed in 77 Ill. Adm. Code 2060 under the Department of Human Services' Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
