SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Danielle "Dani" M. Gibson of Wonder Lake, who passed away on June 26, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Danielle Gibson was born on April 10, 1939 in Melrose Park; and

WHEREAS, Danielle Gibson spent many years with her late longtime companion, Alexander "Bobby" McConachie, before she relocated to Johnsburg in 1986, where she worked at The Johnsburg Tavern followed by Hettermanns Tavern until 1994; she then became the owner and operator of The Grand Old Mill Restaurant in Wonder Lake; and

WHEREAS, Danielle Gibson was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Marie Gibson; a brother, Rick Gibson; and a sister, Bonnie Gibson; and

WHEREAS, Danielle Gibson is survived by her brother, James (Helen) Gibson and sisters, Dolores (David) Lowell, Diana Schmidt, and Judy Karafa; she will be deeply missed by her loving family, Dean, Joy, Lauren, Dana, and Rick Pries, and her many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Danielle "Dani" M. Gibson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Danielle Gibson as an expression of our sympathy.
