SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Theodore Peng of McHenry, who passed away on November 4, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Peng was born on December 27, 1961 in Chicago Heights; his parents were Maria Hordos and Tivadar Peng; he married Cindy Cornett in 1990; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Peng graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1980; he and his wife lived in Valparaiso, Indiana before relocating to McHenry; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Peng was employed by Walgreens for 23 years; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Peng was preceded in death by his father; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Peng is survived by his wife, Cindy Peng; 5 children, Maressa Woods, Erica Cornett, Timothy Cornett, Rachel Zaradich, and Kaylene Peng; his mother, Maria Jester; a sister, Henriette Boros; and 10 grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Theodore Peng; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Theodore Peng as an expression of our sympathy.
