SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas Francis Dee III of Wilmette; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Dee III was a 55 year resident of Wilmette and a graduate of Loyola University and DePaul School of Law; he served in World War II in the U.S. Army; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Dee III worked as an attorney for over 40 years and was the co-founder and senior partner of several prominent law firms; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Dee III was the beloved husband of Annmarie (nee McGrath); the adored father of Kathleen Ann (Randall) Griffis, Susan Marie (Dr. Chris) Krueger, Marianne (Byron) Kanaley, Thomas Francis IV, and Kevin Patrick; the admired grandfather of Kelli (Dan) Johnson, Daniel Nonnemacher, Colleen (Marc) Summe, Sean and Ryan Griffis, Kara, Emily, Marykate, Gavin, and Grace Krueger, Byron, Mariclare, Molly, and Madeleine Kanaley; the great-grandfather of Luke and Emma Johnson; and the brother of Nancy (Harry) Kerber and the late Herbert (the late Patricia); therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas Dee III, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Dee III as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
