SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dana Marie James of Bunker Hill, who passed away on December 3, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Dana James was born on November 8, 1928; her parents were Edward Vinson and Hattie Mae (nee Jardan) McGrew; she married the late Jesse Lee James; and

WHEREAS, Dana James was a homemaker for many years; and

WHEREAS, Dana James is survived by her son, David (Sally) James; his daughter, Regina Hetz; her 12 grandchildren; her 21 great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchild; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Dana Marie James; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dana James as an expression of our sympathy.
