SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Judith A. Hutchinson of Spring Grove, who
4passed away on February 8, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson was born on January 20, 1944 in
6Chicago; her parents were Francis and Norine (nee Windel)
7Cowan; she married Samuel F. Hutchinson on May 29, 1965 at St.
8Thomas Catholic Church in Crystal Lake; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson was a graduate of St. James
10Grade School and Arlington Heights High School with the class
11of 1962; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson and her husband were local
13McDonald's Restaurant owners and operators for over 30 years;
14she also served as President of Woodstock Fine Arts for many
15years and was an active volunteer for Ronald McDonald House;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson was a long-time member of the
18Jaycees in Crystal Lake and a volunteer at the One Step at a
19Time Camp; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson enjoyed spending time on

1vacation with her husband, being with her grandsons, shopping,
2and helping others; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson was preceded in death by her
4parents, Francis Cowan and Norine Bextel; her stepfather, John
5Bextel; and her godmother, Marian Ring; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Judith Hutchinson is survived by her husband, Sam;
7her daughter, Audra (Mark) Peterson; her son, Brian (Valarie)
8Hutchinson; her grandsons, Blake Peterson and Gavin and Carter
9Hutchinson; and her many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins;
10therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
13family and friends, mourn the passing of Judith A. Hutchinson;
14and be it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Judith Hutchinson as an expression
17of our sympathy.
