1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Warren
4 Allen, II of Chicago, who passed away on September 24, 2014;
5 and

6     WHEREAS, Warren Allen, II served as a Scout Leader for the
7 Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Pack and Troop 120; and

8     WHEREAS, Warren Allen, II was known as a "spit and polish"
9 leader and for his Class A uniform; he was always sporting his
10 ranger hat and hiking staff; he epitomized the Scout motto, "Be
11 Prepared", and was always looking forward to the next outing or
12 hike; and

13     WHEREAS, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Pack and Troop 120 are
14 chartered by New Faith Baptist Church International; and

15     WHEREAS, Warren Allen, II was the beloved husband of
16 Carolyn; therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 mourn the passing of Warren Allen, II, and extend our sincere
20 condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved

1 him; and be it further

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Warren Allen, II as an expression of
4 our deepest sympathy.
