SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of James Alfred Butler of Bunker Hill, who
4passed away on September 20, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, James Butler was born on April 26, 1933 in Alton;
6his parents were Alfred James Butler and Opal Chamberline; he
7married Adrienne E. (nee Altevogt) Butler on May 27, 1972 in
8Bunker Hill; and
 
9    WHEREAS, James Butler was a veteran of the United States
10Army and was stationed in Germany; and
 
11    WHEREAS, James Butler was employed as a clerk for the Olin
12Corporation for 42 1/2 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, James Butler was a member of the Zion Lutheran
14Church of Bunker Hill and the American Legion of Bunker Hill;
15he enjoyed the outdoors and gardening; and
 
16    WHEREAS, James Butler was preceded in death by his parents;
17his brother, Dan Butler; and his sister and brother-in-law,
18Evelyn and Gene Ward; and
 
19    WHEREAS, James Butler is survived by his wife, Adrienne;

1his son, Dennis J. (Lisa K.) Butler; his grandchildren, Justin
2Butler and Blake Butler; his sibling, Marilyn Cunningham; and
3his many nieces; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
6family and friends, mourn the passing of James Alfred Butler;
7and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of James Butler as an expression of our
10sympathy.
