SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Louise Cashman, who passed away on August 27, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Mary Louise Cashman was born on February 9, 1954 and grew up in Mundelein; and

WHEREAS, Mary Louise Cashman was the founder and CEO of the Changing Tomorrow Today Foundation for orphaned children in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; and

WHEREAS, Mary Louise Cashman attended Carmel High School and Southern Illinois University; she subsequently obtained master's degrees from DePaul University and Norwich University; and

WHEREAS, Mary Louise Cashman was the beloved daughter of Paul and Wanda Parker; the devoted mother of Nickolas (Allison) Ruzicka and Kaytlin Ruzicka; the stepmother of Kelli (Ruzicka) Clark; the loving sister of Kathleen (Norman) Bruvold, Margaret Ely, and Valerie (James) Parker; the beloved wife of Richard Cashman and a living example for his children, Stephanie (Shane) Stewart and Craig (Lauren) Cashman; and the dear aunt of many nieces and nephews and their children; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary Louise Cashman; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Louise Cashman as an expression of our sympathy.
