SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William E. Egan; and

WHEREAS, William Egan was a member of the Harmony Club and a 65-year member of IBEW Local 134; he was also a former parishioner of the Santa Maria del Popolo Church for 50 years; and

WHEREAS, William Egan was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary; his parents, Frank and Anne Egan; his brother, John Egan; his sisters, Annette (John) Weatherwax and Mary Newkirk; and his brother-in-law, Marvin Fleege; and

WHEREAS, William Egan is survived by his children, Catherine (Wayne) Kencharek, Patricia (Michael) Miller, Eileen (Jerry) Cleaveland, Timothy (Mary Jo) Egan, William (Cindy) Egan, Edward (Donna) Egan, Loretta (Steven) Markese, Mary (Jeff) Gertsen, and Daniel (Patricia) Egan; his 31 grandchildren; his 20 great-grandchildren; his brother, Thomas Patrick (Patricia) Egan; his sister, Marjorie Fleege; his sister-in-law, Patricia Egan; and his brother-in-law, William Newkirk; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of William E. Egan; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Egan as an expression of our sympathy.
