SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William Robert Stanczak of Waukegan, who passed away on September 8, 2015; and

WHEREAS, William Stanczak was born on January 10, 1937 to Celia (nee Svedo) and Bruno W. Stanczak; he graduated from Holy Rosary Grade School, Waukegan High School, and Marquette University Law School; and

WHEREAS, William Stanczak was a practicing attorney in Lake County since 1960; and

WHEREAS, William Stanczak was a long-time member of the Glen Flora Country Club, the City Club, the Lake County Bar Association, and Marquette's "M" Club for former athletes; he was also a member of the Wilmot Mountain Ski School; he enjoyed skiing, golf, basketball, hunting, and playing with his dogs; and

WHEREAS, William Stanczak is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lynn Stanczak (nee Murray); his 5 children, Lisa Stanczak (Skip Lemon), Heidi Dyer (Timothy), Kristine Stanczak, Suzanne Stanczak, and Bill Stanczak (Jessica, nee Olive); his stepson, Joshua Neuwirth (Marylu, nee Pajente); his 10 grandchildren, Christian Lemon, Heidi Lemon, Gretchen Lemon, Neal Dyer, Phoebe Dyer, Gillian Dyer, Julia Elsmo, Sophie Elsmo, Olivia Stanczak, and Emily Stanczak; his step-grandchildren, Caleb Neuwirth and Cylla Neuwirth; his brother, Dr. Ronald (Patricia) Stanczak; his sister, Susan (the late David) Everett; his brother-in-law, Steve Murray; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, golf buddies, former law partners, business associates, and 3 very spoiled dogs, Joe Black, Maxine, and Tootchie; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William Robert Stanczak, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Stanczak as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
