SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Christopher Rockefeller "Kit" Klabunde of
4Woodstock, who passed away on August 14, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Christopher Klabunde was born on July 12, 1935 in
6Woodstock; his parents were Christopher W. and Arline A. (nee
7Rockefeller) Klabunde; he married Peggie L. Jensen on November
823, 1957 at the First Presbyterian Church in Woodstock; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Christopher Klabunde served his country as a
10member of the United States Army from 1958 to 1960 at Fort
11Leonard Wood, Missouri; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Christopher Klabunde worked as a purchasing
13manager for Armin Industries in Elgin; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Christopher Klabunde was an avid camper and
15enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he was also
16a member of the Woodstock Moose Lodge; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Christopher Klabunde was preceded in death by his
18parents; his brother, Cliff; and his sisters, Arlene and Betty;

1    WHEREAS, Christopher Klabunde is survived by his loving
2wife of 57 years, Peggie; his children, Eric Klabunde, Karl
3(Denise) Klabunde, and Linda (Dave) Kuziel; his grandchildren,
4Elyse and Troy Klabunde, Alexa Kuziel, and Sara Jo and Cara
5Klabunde; his brothers and sisters, Judy (Larry) Zack, Al
6(Cathy) Klabunde, Jim (Karen) Klabunde, Sally (Lloyd) Slack,
7and Mary (Dave) VanLue; and his many nieces and nephews;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Christopher
12Rockefeller "Kit" Klabunde; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Christopher Klabunde as an
15expression of our sympathy.
