SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathryn H. Walsh of Wonder Lake, who passed away on September 15, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Walsh was born on January 7, 1946 in Chicago; her parents were Howard and Rita (nee Krakow) Rutishauser; she married Edward Walsh on May 23, 1964 at St. Michael's Church in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Walsh was a former postal worker; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Walsh was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; and her siblings, Howard, Paul, Richard, and Julie; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Walsh is survived by her children, Cheryl Walsh and Mark (Alicia) Walsh; her grandchildren, Cooper and Caroline; her brother, James (Liz) Rutishauser; and her sisters-in-law, Kay, Mariann, and Judy; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathryn H. Walsh; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathryn Walsh as an expression of our sympathy.
