SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William Warren Ingram of Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on September 19, 2015; and

WHEREAS, William Ingram was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 15, 1935 to Bettie and William Ingram; and

WHEREAS, William Ingram moved to Cleveland, Ohio in the early 1950s, where he worked for many years at Bob Miller's and Nicolas Buick in Cleveland and Alliance, Ohio; he was most experienced as a parts and service manager in northeast Ohio; after he retired he became a chauffeur; and

WHEREAS, William Ingram loved to travel and was very active and devoted to God, his family, and his church; and

WHEREAS, William Ingram was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Patricia Ingram; and his son, Willie Darnelle Matthews; and

WHEREAS, William Ingram is survived by his wife, Ella; his children, Warren (Shirley), Sharon, Anthony, Carolyn, Marie, Evelyn (Deshawn) Dean, Linda (Todd), Charles (Latrece), Stephen (Denise), Derrick (Nicole), Stacia (Michael), Ravonn, William (Nickey), Jerry, I'Shana, Tyriene, Tanayjah Ingram, and Justice Ingram; his sister, Roberta Hurghery; his brother-in-law, Stanley "Butch" (Sherry); his spiritual son and daughter, Apostle and Pastor Talley; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William Warren Ingram, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Ingram as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
