SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Louis Rodriguez of Winthrop Harbor; and

WHEREAS, Louis Rodriguez was a United States Army Veteran; and

WHEREAS, Louis Rodriguez was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waukegan for many years and the Well Church; he was state commander of the A.G.I.F. and local commander of the A.G.I.F., the VFW, and the Polish Legion; and

WHEREAS, Louis Rodriguez was preceded in death by his parents, Consuelo and Lewis Rodriguez; his 2 brothers, Daniel and Robert; his sister, Genevieve; his in-laws, Robert and Esther Medel; and his brother in-law, Robert Medel; and

WHEREAS, Louis Rodriguez is survived by his wife of 47 years, Esther; his children, Lisa (Jackson) Nyabuto, Louis (Dawn) Rodriguez II, and Nicole Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Jackie, Mercedes, Eddie, Louis III, Tyler, Jordan, Brandon, Zacary, and Mia; his brother, Raymond Rodriguez; his in-laws, Pat (Frank) Major, Rebecca (Henry) Baez, John (Pat) Medel, Joan (Randy) Thornton, and Margaret (Doug) Dietrich; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Louis Rodriguez, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Louis Rodriguez as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
