SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Rebecca Ann Hancock of Woodburn, who passed away on December 30, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock was born on March 2, 1958 in Wood River; her parents were William Gene Hanner and Betty Jeane (nee Carter) Hanner; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock was a homemaker; she was a graduate of Bunker Hill High School, Class of 1976, and a Sunday school teacher at Country Bible Church; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock was preceded in death by her mother; her brother, John Hanner; and her nephew, Ryan Hanner; and

WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock is survived by her father; her husband of 36 years, Lewis Hancock; her children, Christopher Hancock and Timothy (Cindy) Hancock; her grandchildren, Danielle Warner, Timmy Hancock, and River Hancock; her brothers, Mike Hanner, Jim (Deb) Hanner, Kenny (Deb) Hanner, and Danny (Dee) Hanner; her nieces and nephews, Misty, Dea, Sara, Tara, Jason, Michael, Teddy, Jake, Luke, Wes, Kyle, and Jake P.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Rebecca Ann Hancock; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rebecca Hancock as an expression of our sympathy.
