SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathleen A. Wood of Beach Park, who passed away on December 12, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood was born on October 25, 1962 in Joliet; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood was a fun-loving and compassionate person, as well as a fervent animal lover; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood was preceded in death by her fiance, Michael Nathans; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood is survived by her daughter, Kimberly, who provided devoted care during the last few months of her mother's life; her grandchildren, Rayann and Gavin; her parents, Doris and Willis; her brothers, Michael and James (Cheryl); her rescue cats, Midge and BaBa; her many other relatives; and her dear friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathleen A. Wood; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathleen Wood as an expression of our sympathy.
