SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jonathan Ormsby "Jonny" Wade II of Jerseyville, who passed away on December 24, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Jonny Wade was born in Lubbock, Texas on April 9, 2007 to Kimberly Denise and Jonathan Ormsby Wade; his family moved to Mountain View, Missouri when he was 2 and to Jerseyville when he was 6; he enjoyed baseball and fishing and would often spend hours organizing his hooks and lures to prepare for the next trip; and

WHEREAS, Jonny Wade became spiritual as early as 3 years old and was baptized on May 31, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Jonny Wade was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan; and

WHEREAS, Jonny Wade was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Henry Richard and Viola June Wade, Levi "Bud" and Lillian Dunbar, Sherman and Marjorie Massey, and Alex Carroll and his great-uncle, Larry Wade; and

WHEREAS, Jonny Wade is survived by his twin brother, Jackson "Jacky" Wade; his parents; his half-sister, Kayla Garrison; his grandparents, Henry Ormsby and Sherline Wade, John and Darlene Blount, and Alan Carroll; his great-grandparent, Mary Carroll; his aunts and uncles, Patrick and Kristine Crane and Bryan and Lisa Wade; and many cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jonathan Ormsby "Jonny" Wade II, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jonny Wade as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
