SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas W. Boyle, Jr., who passed away on December 18, 2015 at the age of 71; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Boyle, Jr. was a 44-year resident of Lake Bluff; he retired in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Research Technology International, a Lincolnwood company he helped found in 1970; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Boyle, Jr. enjoyed sailing, having sailed to virtually every port on Lake Michigan during his family vacations; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Boyle, Jr. was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Boyle, Jr. is survived by his longtime partner, Mary Jo Mohr, his daughters, Catherine (Joseph) Montalbano, Jennifer (Patrick) Tucker, and Margaret Elizabeth Boyle; and his grandchildren, Nina, Vincent, Gabriel, and Margot; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas W. Boyle, Jr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Boyle, Jr. as an expression of our sympathy.
