SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eugene Graf of Hobart, Indiana, who passed away on March 9, 2016, at the age of 90; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Graf previously lived in Joliet; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Graf served in the United States Navy during World War II; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Graf was preceded in death by Edith Hope Graf and Ann Davis Graf; his granddaughter, Melissa Graf; his great-granddaughters, Caitlyn Myron and Norah Myron; and his son, Brian Graf; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Graf was the beloved father of C. Diane (Don) Myron, Dennis (Nancy), Daniel (Lorie), and Timothy (Sue); father-in-law to Barbara Graf; the grandfather of 14; and the great-grandfather of 14; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eugene Graf, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eugene Graf as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
