SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Myron W. Nason Jr. of St. Charles, who passed away on August 3, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Myron Nason Jr. was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Myron W. Sr. and Wilma E. Nason on October 1, 1930; and

WHEREAS, Myron Nason Jr. retired from the Wisconsin National Guard and United States Army Reserve; he retired as a federal agent with the United States Treasury Department, Bureau of ATF; he served on the St. Charles Police and Fire Commission for several years; and

WHEREAS, Myron Nason Jr. was a member of the First Baptist Church in Geneva; and

WHEREAS, Myron Nason Jr. was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Nason; and

WHEREAS, Myron Nason Jr. is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna; his children, Susan Gale, Michael (Theresa) Campbell, and Robin Campbell; his grandchildren, Angela Oehlerking, Anthony Ristich, Alexis Campbell, Lauren Gale, Zachary Campbell, Annalise Campbell, and Sabrina Campbell; and his brothers, Richard Nason and Bruce (Carolyn) Nason; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Myron W. Nason Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Myron Nason Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
