SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Anthony Frank Canzoneri of Richmond, who passed away on August 3, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Canzoneri was born on March 26, 1942 in Chicago; his parents were Nickolas and Nancy Canzoneri; he married Marguerite D'Agostino on March 7, 1982 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Schaumburg; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Canzoneri proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; he was stationed in Korea with the 1st Cavalry Division from 1963 to 1967; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Canzoneri was a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he volunteered as an usher; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Canzoneri was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joseph Canzoneri; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Canzoneri is survived by his wife, Marguerite; his children, Mark (Lisa) Nadig, Scott (Mary) Nadig, and Debbie (Joe) LaGray; his grandchildren, Krystal, Marc, and Aaron Nadig, Ryan, Ethan and Rose Nadig, and Kyle Zerrien; his sister, Mary (Frank) Glenn; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Canzoneri; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Anthony Frank Canzoneri; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anthony Canzoneri as an expression of our sympathy.
